5 - WHY IT'S GOOD FOR YOU
HEALTH SPOTLIGHT: RED BEET
Red beet, a vibrant root vegetable, offers an array of health benefits. Rich in antioxidants, fiber, and essential vitamins & minerals like vitamin C, folate, iron, and potassium, it supports heart health, boosts immunity, aids digestion, and promotes healthy blood pressure. Its natural nitrates can enhance exercise performance, while its anti-inflammatory properties may reduce the risk of chronic diseases. Be aware, its high sugar content should be considered for individuals with diabetes or those watching their sugar intake.
HEALTH SPOTLIGHT: ONIONS
White and red onions offer impressive health benefits. White onions provide vitamin C, aiding immune function, and sulfur compounds for antibacterial properties. Red onions are rich in antioxidants, like anthocyanins, fighting inflammation and reducing the risk of cancers and heart disease. Both types provide fiber for digestive health. Incorporate these flavorful onions into your diet for a boost of nutrients and overall wellness.
HEALTH SPOTLIGHT: AVOCADO
Avocado is a nutrient-dense fruit, packed with vitamins (K, E, C) and minerals (potassium, magnesium). It supports heart health, boosts immunity, and promotes healthy skin. However, avocados are high in calories, so portion control is essential. Incorporate them wisely into your diet to enjoy their rich flavors and reap their numerous health benefits.

Using canned food speeds up kitchen time, just make sure to use high quality and choose Glass containers. Unlike harmful plastics and metal cans, glass is inert, ensuring no chemicals leaching into your food. And it's reusable, reducing your ecologic footprint. Clean both thoroughly, glass can and lid, and then reuse to store nuts, flour or anything you like for infinite recycling without loss of quality.
