Maitake mushroomsMaitake mushrooms are a nutritional powerhouse, offering a rich blend of B-vitamins, essential minerals like potassium and selenium, and potent antioxidants. These fungi are known for boosting the immune system, aiding in blood sugar regulation, and potentially offering protection against chronic diseases. Including maitake in your diet can be a smart choice for overall health.

SpinachSpinach is a powerful nutrient-dense food high in vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients but low in calories. It is excellent for people who want to lose weight or want to follow a vegan diet. Spinach is a good source of vitamins A, B2, C, E and K, iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, zinc, selenium, copper, folate, protein and dietary fiber. Plus, it is loaded with flavonoids and carotenoids. Enjoy it as a salad, in juices or smoothies or lightly cooked as a side dish or added to other soups and dishes. Pairing spinach with vitamin C increases absorption of iron.
